My Sanyo 20EZ is "Blowin' Up" ...any ideas
Hey all,
I just performed a cap kit on a Sanyo 20EZ monitor. When I went to test it, its got a bad case of the waves.....According to the Dockert flowchart, I need to check the C606. May have put it in backwards or it could just be a bad cap. Haven't gotten a chance to check it yet, but I will shortly, Anyways, after the game starts warming up, the screen blows up as in inflates. It just starts getting bigger and bigger swelling up like a bloated toad. And I don't think its merely horizontal or vertical I think the whole picture gets bigger. I've turned it off so far to keep from blowing anything. But I thought I'd throw it out there to see if anyone had any ideas or theories. And its worth mentioning that I may not have had the board well grounded via the little black wire on the side. Again, I will correct it but I don't think its the problem. Thanks in advance.
