My Rampage restore

I also have no personal intrest in a Rampage CPO, but have been following the thread since it began because I do like Rampage. It has seemed totally obvious to me since the beginning that the original poster isn't REALLY interested in getting his NOS cpo scanned for others to use. If he was, he would have done it. Seems pretty selfish to me, since there are others here who need it for thier machines.

People think it's easy to get stuff scanned for some reason, if you have a friend that works at a place it is, but I have been to a few places and they tell you to F'off because they know the material is copyrighted.

If you do it yourself these are not problems. Ill post a detailed - step by step walk through when mine arives.

So andys80s, can I get a scan of YOUR Rampage cpo? Just kidding. Glad to see you found one, and I hope others are able to use your scan to get cpos made for them.

And good luck to the OP with finishing you resto. Rampages deserve to get well taken care of IMO.
 
My entire intention has to been to scan it myself since the begging (since what I went through trying to get others to scan it). I need to invest in new equipment to do it though and haven't had the funds to do it (New computer, Scanner, Photoshop Ect.). I have tried to scan parts of it in the past with my current scanner without much success since its really old. Yes it's going to be a total bitch to vectorize this artwork with the grass texture. I tried messing with it on a partial scan I had and tracing endless pices of grass does make it damned near impossible. So if you got an NOS one fine go ahead and work on it it's not going to be as easy as you think it is.


Also a word of advice attacking members that have been here for a while is never a good thing to do. I did my fair share of stupid crap in the past not quite the extent you have but when you piss off people in here they tend to ignore you and never do business with you again. This does suck because if its someone that makes kits and stuff on here your never going to get one of them.

Just take a look at the Asteroids Multi game thread to see how long it takes to get some projects completed not everyone has a lot of time to do stuff this is just a part time hobby.

I really don't think that being here "for a while" gives you any street cred. It is all about what you are able to contribute to the community that holds weight.

...as for your fair share of stupid crap....you continue to say that you are going to get a scan of this done...even after 2 years!

What do you mean "not quite the extent you have". What have I done specifically thats so bad?

and who's not going to want to do business with a guy that can drop three bills at the drop of a hat on a cpo?

Wow...ya know I usually steer clear of the drama, but daaamn, how old are you? You think dropping 3 bills on something will impress us and make people do business with you? The comments above have shown your true colors.

theBman is just a joe like any one of us, he's not a business, or a service, or anyone's personal slave. He doesn't owe anything to anyone, especially those that take it upon themselves to give him a bunch of shit about something he did or didn't do with something he owns and has every right to do what he feels like with. *breathe in* If he wants to take it out back and set it on fire before putting it out by pissing on it, then thats his perogative.

Having known him personally and with all the help he's given me moving stuff, organizing stuff, and tinkering with games I can't understand why a simple "hey check out my game restoration" thread turned into "omg I'm telling my mommy that you won't share your cpo" LOL. I guess even the restoration section isn't drama safe.

I am pretty convinced Andys80's is a younger kid (or a "slower" adult) just trying to get a rise out of people. Thats why I stopped responding seriously to him, no point to it. He has started to follow me around to other topics now and post his name calling/etc.. which is a definite sign that he is a younger noob just trying to mess with people since no adults do that. He posted this last night in my "does anyone here sell 6 in 1 jamma adaptors" topic...

Really well how many people have you ever met on her or helped with projects or traded parts with in person? I have met over a dozen people on here and have done business and established a good rep with many more. In fact I was going computer shopping right after Christmas when there are some sales and hopefully get this scanned some time by the end of Jan. I have been putting it off yes because I had a lot of restore work to do while the weather was still warm and this is the kind of stuff that gets done when its snowing and cold as shit out side when nothing else can be accomplished with my games.

And congrats on being the first KLOV member ever to be added to my ignore list.
