My Rampage restore

i thought kinko was the way to go ... wouldn't it be better to have a scan in one piece instead of a file stitched together from 5 individual scans?

If it was me I'd do it at Kinkos for the 20 bucks or whatever... get a real hi res scan in one pass... no messin' around with 5-6 pieces. And I'll pay him to go to Kinko's (or FedEx Office as it's now called) & I know other dude's here would chip in a little too....

Any trip's to the Kinkos/Fed Ex store? Update, Mr Bman?

NOS Rampage CPO

I know there is at least one more NOS rampage cpo out there. As I sold one to dirkDDS a little while back. It is definitely a rare piece though and would be cool to see it reproed.

Agreed... that's why we're all hoping Bman takes this to get a hi-res scan done... and willing to pay him to do it!

I'm really hoping Bman's still gonna take the unused bezel to get it scanned & hasn't mounted it on anything yet...

People are in need & willing to pay him for his troubles...

We were talking about it - whats the best way to get it scanned, what quality should it be?

I have copiers at work that I believe can scan up to 11x17.

No I haven't done anything with it yet. I had like a month and a half where I was going down to the shore every weekend before the season started to get the house in order. Then after that the weather just started getting unbearable to be outside. I think the only nice day on the weekend we had so far was the 3rd of July and I was hanging out with Orion that day.

Kinko's/FedEx stores... they have a commercial grade large format/high res scanners. For probably about 20 bucks, the staff can take it and scan it very high dpi (higher the better, above 600 dpi). As long as it's thin, flat, & clean... it's a homerun.

My friend manages a FedEx/Kinko's here & was able to give me all the info. If there isn't a FedEx/Kinko's near you, it's possible that Office Max or Office Depot might have something...

Right now I have to since I installed a new scanner on my computer and I lost the ability to open My computer, the Control panel, and my Documents folder. plus my old scanner just stopped working all together so I think it's time for a new computer soon or a reboot as soon as I figure out how to get my current stuff off.
