On my target terror gold arcade witch is a 31" big screen I believe and I think its a wells gardner monitor the screen looks like its not level....I guess the best way to describe this is if you get the game over on the screen the words looks lower on the left side and higher on the right..but the screen is not distorted its square

Is there an easy adjustment for this?

You need to loosen the thumb screw on the neck and twist your yoke.

Ok is this something that is fairly easy to do? I have never messed with a monitor before... The yoke is at the back of the monitor correct?

I suggest not fucking with it. Years ago when I knew next to nothing about monitors/TV's I attempted to rotate a TV yoke slightly and I could never get it back into a usable state, the picture was severely distorted. Ended up having to throw it out.

In my opinion this is something that should only be attempted by people that know what they're doing.

ive done it more than once, never had an issue. But yeah it did take balls the first couple od timeas and i would have messed things up yes.

The only thing is, it's a 31" tube. That's a weird-ass monitor and may have one of those fused/glued/whatever the hell yokes on it. Some of those don't turn/move/adjust/anything very well. I'd just look at it, and if you can see an obvious way to loosen it and turn it, give it a try but if it looks like it's trying to fall apart already I'd probably leave it alone. On a G07 or something it's really easy to do but yours is one of those big weird monstrosities.

I just repaired a target terror gold showcase that had a Makvision monitor (Wei-Ya 3129 chassis) and it had a rotate pot right on the chassis. You need to see what monitor yours has. It may be a easy fix.

You guys are great! I luv this web site! I will take a look at the back of the monitor and let you know what I find... It is a target terror gold show case so maybe it has that pot to rotate idk I will take a look and see...

Thanks again for every ones help!
