Earlier this year I worked with Brett to build a sign for my game room building. Because it's a light box sign with an irregular shape, this was done by cutting layers with his CNC machine and sandwiching the layers together. After doing the finishing work myself, including installing a pot for adjusting the brightness, the sign is complete. I am very happy with how it turned out and Brett was awesome to deal with. He went way above and beyond for me so as a result I feel indebted to him. Thanks Brett!

The night time pics are a little washed out so the colors don't look right. Of course in person it looks great but at least this gives you an idea of what it's like.

I also put the sign in my new google sketchup video in my signature below.

looks great man! 2- 3 days in bondo and 1 and sanding, and the outside to hide all those layers of plywood, and one bad nosebleed later, it was ready for primer. Glad you liked it! Brett

Yeah, Brett bondo'ed the main box, which was not expected but very much appreciated. I had the "pleasure" of bondo'ing the "lid" piece. That was a pain because not only did I have to do the outer perimeter like Brett did on the main box, but I had to do the inner perimeter as well. No fun, but the end result is worth it! You can't tell that plywood is used except on the inside of the box.

Dont know how I missed this thread.. That sign looks awesome.. Brett does great work.. This thread motivates me to finish the Atari key holder I got from Brett:cool:

Plexi was cut by dptwiz just like the box (cnc cut). The artwork was printed by Scott at GameOnGrafix. He was great to work with too!
