The only thing i need to do know is stencil the side art with some gladiator helmets and its done.. heres some pics... I freaking love this game!! this games graphics were deffinitly ahead of its time for 1986

Cool. I remember thinking how amazing it was that the sprites were so big in that game. Fun, I'd like to have one.

I freaking loved that game ... I used to play it in the laundromat near my high school almost every day during lunch.

Looks great!

I think you and I are the only two people that really want to own this game :)
I got hooked on it in a big way in college, the only game ever to draw me in like that.
I've picked up a working board and I've been waiting to find one locally. I'm also
planning or doing a repro CPO and bezel unless I can find one.

Nah. Lots of Gladiator fans out there, just many that don't know what it was called.

Loved the level progression and the items you could get. And how you could be down to your undies and still kickin ass.

I have a friend who collects classic arcade machines, and he put Gladiator as his "must have", and Tron as his no. 2. I remember Gladiator back in the day, and it was a lot of fun. Looks like you did a really good job of fitting it in that Make Trax cab.

Did Make Trax have lit-up instructions on the monitor bezel? I actually like that game. And I believe it has a Konami pin-out...

I put together a Gladiator cabinet for a friend of mine a few years ago as this was his favorite game back in the 80's. He loves the game but gets upset as he says the gameplay gets just too hard, heh. I agree, the graphics on this game were great for 1986.

thanks for the nice comments... No there was no lighted bezel for this cab... really no bezel at all... second i had to throw a horizonal 13' in there also . the original was a vertical monitor...

There are deffinitly more gladiator fans then i thought out there.. I had a hell of a time tring to find one of these boards..

the best thing about this game is the wire harness is just like a JAMMA just alittle smaller...I am very surprised this wasnt a jamma... i guess it came out right before they started making jammas eh?

I have the original upright bezel... as for the overlay, good luck on that... Also this is a caberet so the original wouldnt fit.

If you look at my CP i have the NOS stickers for the game that came with the kit.. I just dont have the overlay that the stickers go on...

I just saw a picture of a dedicated Make Trax mini: doesn't look like it had lit instructions. Just some footprint graphics on either side of the monitor...

Cool. I actually have a Gladiator mini as well. (It's in a generic wood grain cabinet.) It was the first game I picked up.
