We're making an offer on a house today. Here's what will become the game room. A pool table will go into the upper level and arcade games in the lower level. I'll probably enclose the carport but that will be shop/car space.

What do you guys think?

Dude that's awesome!!!! Congrats are certainly in order!
I'm actually looking for 4-5 acres to start building a new house on. The wife wants me to have something similiar to yours but on a much larger scale as we have an RV and a trailer and ATV's to store in there as well. I am in much envy of you lol

Me rikey.

Good luck on the offer, my man. Keep us posted.

That's perfect. Large door over concrete. Easy in and out. Open door for summer parties. Segregated from the house. Kegger!

awesome. that will be kicking. I love having a nice big garage door to throw games thru. Pool table up the stairs, eh? Have fun with that one.

New gamerooms, always a beautiful thing.

Hmm, something about it isn't quite right... oh yeah, it's not in Boise ;)

Seriously, it looks like it would have some serious potential. Did you get pics of the inside ?

That looks like it would be a GREAT gameroom! Hope it works out for you man. Plenty of room in there for another Tournament Cyberball...I happen to know where you can get a working one cheap ;)

Very nice ShanMan! That setup looks dope, great driveway, easy loading, lots of room and potential! If you ever wanted to you could close the carport off and expand out there! I really love that garage dude!

Good luck on your offer, hope you get it! Pics! Pics! Pics! of the inside! How big is the arcade area downstairs?

LOL, no Dokert, the trick isn't to ditch a good woman to fill the house full of machines... its to fill the house up with arcades and then have good women ditch you! :D

It's a little over 600 down and 300 up. I do plan to eventually wall the carport but it would be a 3rd garage bay/shop. However, whenever I fill the main game room there's always the possibility of sacrificing garage space for the games! :D After all, it also has an attached 2 car garage.

Inside pics of upstairs and down. BTW, as you can see it comes complete with bathroom. :)

Offer was officially made tonight. I fully expect it not to be accepted, but hopefully we can negotiate a price that's a little more acceptable to us.

That's sweet! As everyone pointed out, you'll have a huge door to get the games in/out, and you can open it for parties. Definately need pics of the inside - is it finished or just bare? Kinda reminds me of a mini version of the Lunacity arcade. Damn I am jealous! ;)

WOAH! Very jealous! You'll have one of the greatest setups known to mankind if done right there. Hope it all works out. Oh look! Minibar!

Hmmm....have you measured the upper area? I think the general rule of thumb for standard pool table room is roughly 14 feet by 17 feet. Otherwise you'll get bad shots and pool sticks in people's corneas.

What if you place the pool table downstairs? Possibly in front of the garage door area? Then you can still wrap several games along walls and still be able to get some good seating in there.

Then pinballs and more cool arcade games could run the walls upstairs. Just a thought. I have lots of them, but only a few are good ones.

That has a shitload of potential, nice setup in there! I know that you're chomping at the bit to expand your collection!

What color are you going to paint the walls? And it also looks like you could setup some games or entertainment with the pool table upstairs! :D

That looks like a great space. I like the fact that it's easy in/out and away from the house. If had a place like that I may never be in the house. - Barry
