This was on Craigs for 2 days before I noticed it. The seller had "Galaga Table top" in the title...

Figured it was long gone but I called him anyway, at 11:15pm last night, asked if he still had it, apologized for contacting him so late and told him I'd be there to pick it up in the morning.

The controls are buttons instead of a joy stick so I'm assuming it's a Space Invaders conversion - wonder if I can convert to joysticks. There's no CPO. The games used but in better shape than most cocktails I've seen. It plays great with only a little burn/discoloration in the center of the screen. I'm hoping a recap will fix the monitor...

It had approx. $41.00 in change in the bottom (weird, not all quarters...)! I won't tell you what I paid for it unless you beg.

I might be interested in trading for an upright Galaga as real estate is scarce in my basement.

Whereabouts in the world are you located?

And I won't beg, but am curious what you paid... :D

Actually the glass is pretty good. It's the flash that makes it look like crap. I got the monitor issues sorted out. All it really needs are some new edge connectors to keep the glass down firmly and some sort of CPO. I will draw something up and take it to my local guy.

BTW, I paid $200.00 for it. Not a super score but pretty cheap for a working Galaga. Then add in the $40.00 I got back... :)

Dammit, I realized when I looked for it again last night and the listing was gone that it'd probably been sitting on CL for a few days w/ no takers. Should have jumped on it, would have been a fun addition and I love Galaga. Ah well, hopefully you can convert it either to a joystick or back to whatever it was originally, nice pickup. :)
