I thought I'd share this in case it helps anyone out. I'm working on restoring my Ms Pac-Man and just last week I went to Home Depot to get some paint. I took a color code that was supposed to be an update to the codes from Mike Appolo but the first problem I ran into was Glidden no longer carries their "Evermore" line. I tried having them use the same base number and they tried to use the equivalent numbers for the codes I had. Both times the blue came out way too light. I finally took that small piece of metal that mounts to the lower back panel between the wheels and had them match that color blue. It seemed to my eyes to be a bit darker than the remaining blue on my cabinet, but it was close enough for me. What I ended up with was a blue that was just a bit lighter than what was on that piece of metal so I'm confident I'm in the right ballpark between that shade of blue and what is still on the cabinet. Here's a scan of the color codes from Home Depot, an attempt to show you how the blue turned out, and then a shot of my cabinet. I honestly don't think my cabinet had a ton of fading. These colors may not be perfect, but since I had trouble getting them to work with the color codes I had, I figured a color match was my next best bet. Has anyone had any luck using any of the usual paint codes? Maybe these will help someone out.

i had Lowe's match Glidden's Rhapsody color in Valspar (they'll do small samples of Valspar satin finish for cheap, but only satin.) i needed it just for touch-ups after sanding off some graffiti so i didn't want a large can. it's reasonably close though just a shade light.

Yeah I was wondering if that Rhapsody color was even available anymore. I mentioned that name to both of the people working in the paint department at the time, but neither seemed to know.

Lowe's doesn't carry Glidden but has matching paint codes for at least some of the brands that they do have. the guy helping me just looked up "rhapsody" in the computer... i did have to remind him that it's spelled "rh" and not "ra" as the first time he searched he didn't find the match.

Rhapsody is still available, I just picked up a gallon last week (wasn't thinking that I'd really only need a quart) - the problem i had was that its just called "Rhapsody", not "Rhapsody Blue". Here's a pic of my cab (more in my thread in the resto showcase), not that pics are going to give you the most accurate colors. I'll post a pic of the label when I get home for comparison.

Here's the label off my can. Kind of odd we both bought our paint on the same day.

Thanks for posting the label from your paint can. Hmm I don't know entirely what the numbers mean, but the custom match I had them do definitely has some different numbers from yours. I'll think about it but I may be tempted to go back and just get Rhapsody. I'd hate to throw away $20 bucks and the paint so I'll test first and see how it compares to the remaining bits of blue.
