My Mortal Kombat Restoration (Lots of pics)

I had a high res version, but the computer it was on crashed and I haven't got it back up yet. Will these work...?

I saw the vid of this on youtube. it was actually how I found you and your various outlandish MK projects. :)

my War Gods cab didn't have the PCB mounting panel in it (it was converted to a NAOMI setup for Zombie Revenge so it didn't need it) so I'm kind of unsure of how to really go about mounting my games for my 6-in-1 "Multi" Kombat project. I don't necessarily trust the vertical way you did it for my application, I was thinking of going with shelves for each game and using JAMMA extenders, at least I'll feel secure that way.

any ideas?

ALSO, if I wanted to get the paint smooth for repainting over old graphics, I'd have to sand the original sideart first right? if I did that, then I'd probably entertain getting MK1 "kit" sideart and doing the MIDWAY vinyls on the sides. didn't you add your own MORTAL KOMBAT on the front of the CP too?

Anyone who had bought a tekken 1 or 2 from a Namco arcade probably had a MK1 cab. Glad to see that the CP and sides cleaned up relatively easy. This is one of the dedicated cabs at the top of my wish list now. I have a mint MK2 and a converted MK4 (i don't like conversions but for $100 why not?). Looks great.

Also, glad to see I'm not the only one who uses the cheap Wal-mart lights for the marquee replacements. Did you replace the monitor chassis?

awesome job, i just picked up a MK cab and looking to do the front like that. how did you get the mortal kombat and logo in the front looking so good?

I made the image in photoshop. I'll message you so we can exchange emails and I can send it to you.
