I got a call yesterday from a woman that I last talked to over a year ago about picking up some games. She tells me they need to be out of the building by Thursday so come and get them. Today I picked up a working Great 1000 mile rally 2, a working Neo Geo with Prehistoric Isle 2, a Neo Geo conversion with Fatal Fury that plays blind and a Turbo Outrun that also plays blind. Also pick up 4 Megatouchs, the 2 that I tested work. I know almost nothing about these Megatouchs, except that they are freaking heavy. Got some other ancient bartop that I need to look at along with some other misc items of interest. It was wicked hot today in Atlanta which hit me pretty hard and my 47 year old back is letting me now it doesn't like this hobby at all. Not at all a bad score but I will be paying for it dearly tomorrow. Next time I do something like this I've got to get me some help. :004_ssleepy:

Shoot me a PM next time and I will help you. I will work for arcade games...

Mega Touch is fun but it looks yours are fairly old versions. Gold goes back a ways. I think Maxx has several version like Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire. Fun stuff, espeically the photo hunt. Nice pickup on the dedicated Neo. Though I think my wife would never argue with me about anything ever again if I got her a Mega Touch.

I was playing with one of the Mega Touch last night and it is kind of fun but I am not so sure I will be playing them all that much. Games that don't have space bugs don't hold my attention very long. I will keep a couple around, one for others to play and one for me to hack on. Found out the one I was playing has a 486 processor that boots into a dos and everything is on the cd. Again, I did not know anything about these before yesterday. Where I picked them up there were lots of internal CD drives lying around, now I am thinking they were probably all Mega Touch drives. Now I wished I grabbed some.
