Ok. So I have had time to reflect. Normally I would have the attitude of "Dont like it? too bad" but those days are gone.

The bottom line is I lost it. Not many know WTF led up to my "Falling Down" moment so here it is.

Recently, my wife has had some health issues. Two weeks ago we received the final diagnosis of blood clots in her brain. She cannot work for the time being and she just received the okay for limited driving.

The last two months of my life have been complete hell. I have done my best to keep it together and I broke. Some of you were the unfortunate recipient of the breakage and I apologize. If you only knew what it was like to sit and watch your wife sleeping and hoping she will wake up the next morning, possibly you would understand what I am going through.

I am not looking for sympathy or reaching for excuses. This is plain and simple what I am going through and it is affecting me.

Again, I am sorry.

Tom

I don't know what went on Tom but I know exactly what you are going through. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer about 3 weeks ago and she has been up and down, high and low for that 3 weeks.

Only now is she starting to settle down and contemplate the way forward.

I feel for you both.

I hope things will get better for you and your family, all the best.

A guy can only take so much stress in his life before it comes to some type of head. Though not in the line of fire of your "melt down" I can tell you that my opinion of you hasn't changed. There are many guys on this site (and another) that I respect that have vouched for the type of guy that you truly are outside of this place.

Best of luck to you and your wife, and prayers to you both.

Greg

Meltdowns happen. Who really cares.

What people should care about is wishing you and your family to be well and get through these tough times.

Sh*t happens, you melted down a bit, life goes on.

My prayers go out to you and your family, may all be well.

Bottom line: this is the internet and isn't anything compared to your real life. We all stress out but I can't imagine the pressure you have on you right now. Good luck to you and your wife, I hope everything turns out okay!

Sorry to hear it, man. Hopefully they'll have something they can give her to dissolve the blood clots.

I hope for the very best for both your wives.

Thank you everyone for the kind words.

Currently, Kris is going through getting the proper dosage of coumadin to break the clots. She has to get her blood tested every two days and they are constantly adjusting the dosage.

It sucks but she is a trooper. I brought her home two pairs of hooker heels tonight to make her happy. She is a total shoe whore.

Demogo - one is enough! LOL

LOL -- I didn't phrase that very well, did I? :)

Be REALLY careful with the coumadin -- it nearly killed my Dad. Sounds like they've got it covered already but don't skip that testing for any reason.

Well, I sure hope she gets well soon. So sorry to have given you shit about some of your posts. I would have been less harsh and more understanding had I known.
