There have been a few threads on this latley and a couple of guys that knew i got one last year asked that i post some pictures of mine.

Here is a Video i did last night (warning some #$%! used) :

music videos

How do you run your musuc videos.

Did you burn a bunch on dvd, and just run on a loop?

Do you run them from a computer hdd. how do you have several flat screens hooked up.

Nice arcade.... what size is your room? and home many games?

thanks
chris

Turn the lights off and get back to playing! That reminds me so much of the arcades from back in the day, loud a** music and cool games. Sweet.

Thanks, i am going to do an indepth look at my NIB Robotron mini next. I wasn't going to as there are a few cases here on KLOV where guys show the unboxing etc... but i have had a few requests so will fire up the Camera for that.

The Owl doors are very cool aren't they? Def, my Fav, of all coin doors.

Come visit bring Dokert... We can hang out in my Cave play classics and drink Canadian beer!

Canadian beer is the best!!

Ever seen djw90 play? Awesome, he is the Lunar Lander king.

Thanks its a hard game. It was one of my favorite games as a kid. It always ate all my money. My friends parents always gave him limitless arcade cash so he got pretty good. I would usually play Lunar Lander until I was about out of money then switch to asteroids. I could play asteroids all day long on one quarter.

I didnt get good at the game until I got my own machine. I dont even want to guess how many games it took to get the record, Thousands upon Thousands. Lunar Lander is the coolest arcade IMO. It will never leave my collection.

Im working on Lunar Lander #2 now. New sideart came yesterday cant wait to get started on that.

Where did you find your lander Braido? It looks like its in awesome shape.

Great story thx for sharing,

Road.runner (Mike) found me my Lunar Lander out of New York and i had it shipped up. He knew i was looking for a Mint one for my collection and he found it. I talked to the Operator they got it from and he told me he pulled it from a route as it wasn't earning. A bunch of other games got put in front of it and it until they found it last year. I have heard this story many times before but when i got the machine and saw the condition of it i belived it. The monitor is orginal and doesn't even have screen burn in it, the Control Panel art is perfect, and the Side art is 9.5/10

As a Kid i only got to play Lunar Lander once while on Vacation in Hawaii. I was fasicnated as was my Dad who kept giving me Quarter after Quarter so he could watch me play. I remember he tried it once or twice would get pissed off and give me more Quarters so he could watch me again. I was only 11 or 12 years old at the time but i remember a guy showing me how to play, land, etc... he was a cool guy. We actually got to know him pretty good and my Dad offered to give him a place to live and a job on our Farm so he could go to collage in Canada (better his life, he was bummed after highschool and lack of options), That made a big impression on me that my Dad would offer that. He didn't take my Dad up on that but i'll always remember playing Lunar Lander with him and watching him and my Dad play Pool.

Great Story. I think we appreciate the favorite games we enjoyed as kids. I delivered papers as a kid for arcade money. Had 2 routes. Its funny I had to take on a 3rd route about 80 more papers to afford my Lunar Lander addiction:D

a few years later prob 1982 a lunar lander showed up a Po Jo's in Boise. Everything was set on tokens and they were only 5 cents. We lived there. I did get a little better at the game then, but was still only putting up scores around 1000 points. Im not sure what the fuel setting were on it.
