My luck (25" blind wooden box in my living room)now with pics

So I go and play then buy another dynamo jamma cab w a 25" monitor (tube rca, i think wg chasis) .
it plays blind..
no glow/ no hum nothin like the monitor isnt gettin power.
power supply is newer/clean. It does coin up and play, but blindly.
the fuses on the chasis and by the power supply are not blown.
Ive followed all the wires on the can and nothing is cut etc...
anyone have any ideas on what else i should look for?

pics below in post #6

im just tired of googling it and reading everyones stories looking for my type of problem...

Was the cab on its back for transportation? Check and make sure nothing landed on the chassis that may have caused a short. There could easily have been a loose coin or screw in the cabinet that got flung around during transport.

Can you post a pic of the inside cab showing the chassis?

I was vertical in my trailer, never tilted more then to get it out of the doorways etc..

that is a K7000

cold solder joints can keep it in shut down condition.

cap it and re-flow the areas in the sticky add a new fly and you will be good to go.

go simple. Make sure the monitor is getting power. Sometimes the power connector can not make good contact. Stick your meter in the monitor chassis side of the molex and see if your getting voltage..

Don't know how tech savvy you are, but I'd suggest reading over the manual. There are probably various test points you can check to see if the proper voltage (if any) is being sent, and can diagnose from there. You can also test voltage at the fuse and work your way forward from there. Heck, start from the transformer.

If it was working before you transported it I would wager it's a simple fix like a loose connection, but at this point the problem could be anything.

I see a winner

Buffet is right putting it mild, that flyback is way bad my guess is moving it bumped it just enough to kill it. If it is not the flyback now it will be very very soon, its ready for a rebuild. I have actually had and seen alot of games die during transport and these brittle old flybacks is a common problem with moving them.

Thanks again, I was hoping to find a easy fix :)p), but Ill have to check things out when I get my meter back tonight.
I know a flyback is inevitable, but I'll try to test those other spots first too.
