My lil warehouse raid

Casey, Not trying to hijack your thread, just add to it. I picked up the Donkey Kong cocktail that was there and the operator was very friendly like you said. Loved the stories of the games. I took a bunch of pictures of what is left as far as games. What was the best part was searching through the parts, I found what I have been in search of for a long time. A Galaxian monitor glass. It is in almost perfect condition.

Oh, by the way, I think you left your dolly there, he said I could have it. j/k

I saw that bezel and the DK upright, but didn't want to be greedy. He already gave me a few Nintendo Vs kits. The Cocktail you got, was that the one without the monitor? Or the one that looked like it was converted to some pool game? Or did they stick the monitor in the one without?

I wish you grabbed my dolly, actually. Knowing someone here had it might make me chances on getting it back better. I'd hate to have to keep renting Uhaul trucks hoping one is in the back and not on the invoice :/ (That's a long story in it's self, it was kept as revenge for having to replace the rented truck 3 times when trying to move my store.)

Just got an email as I'm typing this:

Hi Casey
Larry tells me that you left your cart at the warehouse in case you were looking for it.
Don't worry, you won't see it on ebay :))
…M

Yeah Larry was interesting and not just because he smoked while hooked up to oxygen. Seems like he worked on most those games and had a little story about most of them.

So, yeah, if anyone who lives closer to me goes to grab anything there, please do grab my dolly and let me know :)

Were there any early Taito games there?

Nope, not even one. There's a couple playchoice 10's that are nice though. a couple space invaders... a cool sub game that I actually was going there to get but decided against it... a Street fighter that didn't turn on.. I dunno I have some pictures as well on my ipad.

Casey, If I get back there I will get the dolly. The guy said you were coming back for something so I thought you would get it then.

There is a monitor in the DK that I picked up, I saw the other one that was converted, not sure if it had a monitor in it.

Any idea what he wanted for one of those PC10s? :)

Ah he must have swapped it.. which was a good call. The one you got was REALLY nice, eh?

I do think I might go back. I'm really not too sure right now. I do have much space in my barns :)

I just opened up the dk, the monitor looks original. The tag said something about the monitor, but it has so much dust on it, no way it was just put in. Besides, I got lucky he found the keys. There was a pile of them and we found the right ones instantly.

Jeff, I can email him and see what he wants for the playchoice machines, I was thinking of getting the one with SM3 and double dragon.

I have an extra tempest that I need to get working, it is complete but cabinet is not perfect. Couple of the corners are banged up. Once I get her working again I will let you know.

The Crater Raider is looking really good, by the way. I had a new mirror cut and it looks amazing. I get a new G07 flyback in the mail tomorrow and it'll be all set. The sound is great, the bent mirror effect is like nothing I've seen before. The picture is all squished on the monitor and the mirror makes it look really wide and like 12 feet away. I can wait to get that damn NBA Jam POS monitor out of there and the G07 in... (sorry Tim.. I'm about to tie the NBA Jam to the back of my truck, drag it up there and abandon it's wreckage in front of the blowing alley :).. It's the machine I was born to hate I guess.) I REALLY like Crater Raider, I'm surprised people don't talk of it more.
