So i went to get a mario on my arm and left with a daisy,It's my wife's favorite character in the mario series. We play mario kart or mario world alot and she's always daisy,my right arm is "her arm" as she likes to put it as i have her name on top and some other stuff. When i came home with it she said "Daisy? who doe's that?" and busted out laughing but she love's it. It's the gamecube version, eventually will put more there for her but cant have any tats showing because of work so no sleeve for me.

Nice. Same deal with me, I work a corporate job so nothing below the short sleeve mark. I have a space invader tattoo and I badly want to add to it. The plan is to make it all bad guys from classic arcade games (Galaga/Galaxian bugs, Defender ships, Sinistar, etc.) The problem is that I need something to be designed but don't want to drive all the way out to the tattoo place to drop off pics and discuss so that he can design something and I can go all the way back. Anyone know of an artist who might be willing to put a few minutes into throwing something cool together?

Not my cup of tea, either. I always followed the rule of NO cartoon characters. That'll look kind of silly when you're 40+ years old.

that's cool if you like it. better than walking in and picking something off the wall, or a Tribal band around your arm.

I personally have a sleeve of 80's movies I love... Monster squad stuff, Ghostbusters stuff...

This is coming from guys that PLAY WITH ARCADE GAMES for the fun of it!?!? LOL!

There HAS to be some kind of irony in this statement right?!?!

I doubt there will ever be a day that I don't enjoy looking back on my youth in the 80's. It's not like my relationship with arcade games is going to go sour to the point that I want nothing to do with them ever again.

Some people do, but I'm not one of them. The most fun I have is working on them: Doing the electronics work and the restoration. Sure, I do play them at times, but I am nowhere near "into" this hobby like I was 10 years ago.

Now it's mostly drinking some beer, playing the jukebox and playing some games with my woman.

That is a cool tat, and looks to be well done.

While I don't have any arcade related tats, I think something like the Atari logo, or Williams logo would be what I would get.

Post some pics of that sleeve. Sounds badass.

And to the OP: enjoy the tatt, sir. Don't let the negative comments get you down. If you dig it and it has special meaning to you, that's all that matters. This is coming from a guy whose tattoos include an octopus, a pirate ship, a shotokan tiger, and the demonic wallpaper design from the haunted mansion ride.

Its all good,I like it and so does my wife. The art's on my body and everyone's entitled to there own opinion, wouldnt be KLOV without'em. I knew it would be met with mixed reviews.

I'm going to be the asshole and come out and say. It looks gay!!!' No other words to describe it and I'm sure others feel the same. The coloring isn't thy great either, looks like they didn't fill it in enough or something, just doesn't look right. It not the fact that's its a princess either because I have seen some that look nice as he'll. What you got there is 40$ tattoo or less will be faded in a yr or less. I am just calling it like I see it. I got my stars done on y arms and they looked the same way a yours did and looked like shot after they heeled then I went to a real tattoo shop and had to pay 350$ to have them fixed and tattoos the right way and I am very happy with the results now. I have full solid colors and they are 3 yrs old and really vibrant
