My latest pickup (Tron, w00t!)

i don't know if you can touch them up, you'd need fluorescent paint or whatever. the plastics are expensive around $95 a piece i think at phoenix arcade. the bulb you need, though is a white black light. they're somewhat hard to find locally unlike black light blue bulbs. there's a place on like 29th and sheridan or so that sells those bulbs. their name is bulbs plus - (303) 233-1189.

I wouldn't buy new, hopefully find a better set of used ones that someone replaced with new.

Never heard of a white black light bulb. It lights up now, but it looks like a normal white bulb to me. How do you tell the difference?

New pics. I did notice two tears in the translite sheet, but they are hard to see (and photograph)

Is this a white black light, or just a regular florescent?

One tear just to the left of center of the shot, one in the center of the sheet

looking at the bulb - it'll have the reading -bl at the end where a blacklight blue would be -blb, so example f15t8bl instead of a blue which would be f15t8blb.

that looks much better btw. all you have to do is take that out at an angle instead of pulling straight up and it won't damage the sides.

Here are some before and after pics of the right side touchups. Not perfect, but it looks 10x better than it did before. Now I just need to find a green and red marker that matches, and I will be happy with it (for now). It actually looks much better in person than in the pics. Some of the lines look like I missed, but the soreness in my hand will attest to the fact that I didn't miss one scratch on the black areas.

i would have replaced the siude art if i had this cab.even though you touched it up the scratchs and gouges pop out far too much, they do in that phot.

consolation is.,if you decide to keep it like that, good for you,if you decide to change it in the future then you got half decent art to keep you going till you sort something out.

paint pens can be your friend or your enemy where touching up is concerned, they can tend to make touched up parts pop.
:)

At some point I might buy new side art (and inside art, plastics, & translite), but for now I'm just doing the little things I can to improve the look of it.
