I am always amazed when I can get a GREAT score off of San Francisco CL. The guy was real great and held it for me for a couple weeks until my next trip down there. Picked up a very nice Gravitar. Side art is in very nice shape, cab is very solid with the exception of the lock bar and a credit push button installed on the front. All the numbers match except the PWR Supply board. It came with a bunch of paperwork, an extra PWR supply board and an extra monitor with some Tempest burn, less the deflection board and a Sega MC-2000-S chassis (this will be for sale). Right now the powers up and the Spot Killer is on. I can hear it coin up, P1 and P2 lights blink, but it will not start when P1 &2 buttons are pressed. Checked the voltages and found +5.7 volts. Turned down the pot to 5.07 volts on the PCB board, and now it will not coin up. Luckily I have a working Gravitar that I will use to help troubleshoot. My other Gravitar will be for sale once I get this one going. All this for $200, not bad.

I love GRAVITAR!

Cool! I need to get myself a Gravitar.

It's one of those really fun (yet frustrating) games that you can literally play for hours. Congratz on the pickup!

Hey Kevin! Nice score - that'll look nice next to your Space Duel.

How did you get someone on CL to actually hold a game that long? Way to go!

Hey Kevin! Nice score - that'll look nice next to your Space Duel.

It will look better than the current Gravitar sitting next to your Space Duel! My daughter loves hitting all those buttons on the Space Duel.

This was a long trip!

Sold and delivered a Centipede to SpaceWar (aka Tom) in Redding, drove to Woodland to see my in-laws and drop off my 2 year old co-pilot Ruby, met a Craigslist guy to trade an upright Megatouch for his "blind" Asteroids DLX, sold my DK JR and a burn free 20EZ to KLOVer: wmacmonagle (You can currently see it on CL, he even used my pictures! funny), picked up a beat up Tron from another CL guy, drove to Lodi to pick up a non-working Red Baron, back up to Woodland for some sleep. Then the next day I went home up the 101, and stopped to pick up the Gravitar in Petaluma.

Awesome pickup, and a spare WG6100 to boot! Too lucky!! I'm very jealous, I've been trying to land a Gravitar for a long time with no dice...
