I'm officially at capacity now, another neglected and abused orphan found its way into Jeff's home for abused and exploited arcade games AKA The Madman Arcade: Space Invaders.
I had the boardset for a while and figured I'd find a cab eventually, but I found a complete non-working Space Invaders, and when I got there, it started working. Owner wasn't too happy about that but kept his word and sold it to me anyway. The cab is damaged pretty bad, the left side is pulled away a little, and the right side has a fracture on the inside, but doesn't show through the artwork or anything. I'm hoping with a little re-alignment, a rubber mallet, some glue and a crapload of wide wood clamps I can pull it back together.
After cleaning an inch thick layer of crud off the monitor and mirror, it looks good, and so far I've played several games on it without a problem.
