I went over to Lloyds Coinop Warehouse on Friday, and, wow, did he have lots of games. It kinda reminded me of the ol' Hagerstown warehouse days. He had a good number of Midway & Taito cabs, 3 Tuts, a Theif, a Rescue, a fairly cosmetically nice SI, and lots of other stuff. A lot of newer cabs as well. I got a decent but dirty Robotron converted to a Choplifter, a Vs Hogan's in a DKJR cab (nice shape and nearly working) and last but not least, and old style bottle Coke machine. I've been wanting a bottle Coke machine for a long time. We plugged the Coke machine up and it was working! You could feel the cool air coming on. The cool looking Coke marquee on the front is a little busted up, however. Maybe This Old Game could make repros of that? j/k. The Hogan's boots up but when you go to select a 1 or 2 player game, the shots fire and you can hear them, but the game does not start. It just kind of sits there in the game select mode. I don't know much about Vs games - what's the difference between Vs & Playchoice? I'm Ninty ignorant, but I do have a DK. I'm still tempted to head over to Lloyds again, but I barely have room for any more. He is, or was, letting stuff go pretty cheap.
PS - I was amazed how heavy that Coke machine was. Somehow my minivan hauled it and the Nintendo cab at the same time. I made a 2nd trip that day to get the Robo/Choplifter. I almost wish I went back for a 3rd time.
