Anyone who has ever set up a multi-williams or 19-in-1 know the problems of the control panel for multiple games. I was given a gutted defender cabinet some time ago and I've had a jrok mwms for some time. It came with the willis CPO. I finally put it all together.

I decided that defender would be the game to take precedence and made original layout a top priority. Because of this, I ended up with a non-optimal layout for most of the other games. I think it's OK, but the only improvement I might ad would be leaf switch joysticks.

What do you think? Are you up for some left-handed joust?

looks alright to me. that was a nice looking Defender, kinda surprised it was gutted without also being painted over. good work.

if you tighten up the gap on the microswitches you'll be just fine with those sticks.
i had some similar to that from arcadeshop and thought they were really fast, but the skinny bat wasn't optimal.

Robotron just doesn't feel like Robotron (to me) w/o ball top Wico sticks.

I am curious how a pair of Perfect 360 upgrades to those sticks would feel/work with Robotron though.

Nice looking multi, clean layout. As someone who loves Robotron and Joust (even though I'll never set any records on them), I think the sticks are two wide apart for me, and the non symetrical joust stick/flap layout would irk me.... but with Defender being your primary, I'd say excellent work. We each have our primary preferred Williams game (well, I presume most of us in to the 80s vids have a primary preferred Williams game anyway.

I've got a second Robotron that needs a good amount of work that I was thinking of making a multi with.... but I've already got dedicated Joust and Robotron which are my two favorite Williams games... and given Robotron's value, I'll probably sell it off as a project or fix it and sell it. I can't play two Robotrons at once :)

I would add the inviso button on to there...if you like defender, you probably like stargate as well....with a jrok, you may as well be able to play both....

I got a beater Robotron cab a few months ago and I was pretty set on doing a JROK dedicated Robo restore. Now I'm thinking I might go Multi Williams. You've messed with my head sir.

Unless you are set on Defender...Joust flap can be set to p2 start and it works pretty well on a robo panel.
The problem with multi-ing a robo panel is that it has metal plates routed in, so you'd end up reworking the whole panel anyway.

I know ArcadeShop sells a metal multi panel but I don't know any feedback on how well it works.
