Not sure if this would count as a quote-unquote restoration (even though I did restore this MVS back to a pristine state), but here you go: My hybrid MVS 161-in-1/MultiJAMMA 6-in-1 cab. I'll be documenting the entire rewiring and board installation over the next few days, but as a teaser, here are a few pics of the finished outer cab, freshly painted with new hand-painted logos and red T-molding. Enjoy!

lovely paint job.... but those logos, I'm at a loss for words.

lol Is that a good loss or bad loss?

Truth time....the 161-in-1 on the left side, and all the logos on the right side are Photoshopped. The SNK, MVS and Neo Geo logos, along with the left/right player on the front are hand painted, whereas the others I designed in Illustrator and mocked up in PS to see what it'd look like. I know it goes against purist standards, but I think they look good.

Of course....if I ever decide to swap a board for another board....eh...

EDIT: Just noticed the pic I used for the left side is before I added the last strip of T-molding and before I painted on the Player Left/Player Right arrows. oops.

Beautiful cabinet. One of these days I'm going to get anal enough to start 'properly' restoring mine. I can feel it coming, but am fending it off as long as possible.

I admire the skills but fault the taste. (sorry to be honest)

I suspect you have limted space so are cramming all of your boards in one machine and sorta creating a wireing nightmare with the stereo sound etc. The Neo Geo is already a Multi so why not Create a Multi-JAMMA using like a Dynamo or something. They are easy enough to swap boards already.... I like my DD Taito's for swapping boards because of the bottom drawer.

I just wouldn't want my arcade looking like a rally car.
