My house still a disaster from vacation but getting better!

If you had a party and people wanted to try another game, it would be like playing musical chair. somebody has to move or you'll be stuck playing the same game all night. awesome. Must get really hot in that room when you have everything on.

Awesome house, but let's face it...Karl's never getting laid living there :D
LOL, you'd be surprised how much I get laid for being an arcade nerd... I'd wager more than the average klover, especially the married ones, I just can't find the QUALITY women that I want to keep around! :D

Looking good Karl.
Time for another SMAC party???
Thanks! Just about ready for another game nerd party! I'm thinking September, probably the last weekend of the month...

What kinda douchebag has both a Zekes Peke and an Ice Cold Beer setup right next to each other... You bastage! ...yes... I'm jealous.
Yes, I know it is douchtastic of me, especially when guys around me really want ONE and I own both! I suppose when everyone else is willing to drive a full day for a project one or 2000 miles for a load of projects then they too will own one if not both! I can't help it if my range is 100 times the range of the rest of you lazy asses! :)

Wish I lived next door !! How often do you have parties?
LOL, my neighbors don't even play games or come over to play them... they know I have some sort of fanatical machine obsession but they have no clue what lies inside. I have BBQ's w/ my group of friends at work maybe every couple of weeks. Parties where I have all the games on and invite my old school friends maybe two a year, and maybe another two game nerd get togethers a year.

Must get really hot in that room when you have everything on.
Yes, damn hot especially after a few hours... looking at working a trade with my refer man, he has a few A/C units that are ready to go and he's pushing me to get some A/C up in this bitch! Biggest problem is where to feed the power from? One A/C in the back room would be nice, another one near the front of the house would be pimpin'

Yup, same house, still renting... :(

My landlord problems have been ironed out, she's been friendly beyond belief to me and gone out of her way to "make things right".

I'm waiting to buy a nice chunk, hopefully next year sometime... I will be buying by the time I'm 30, I be 28 at this moment. I'm watching the market around me and constantly rubbing my hands together and grinning as prices slide! :D Houses that were far out of my league, all of the sudden I'm looking at houses beyond what I thought I could get for less money!!

All balls and no brains! :) Games everywhere is cool and unique, but an instant turnoff to 3/4ths of all the women that I date or mess around with. :( Once I find that crazy gamer chick thats single, who I always meet that is happily in a relationship, and I'm set for life...

You'll know the right girl when you bring her home and see runs over to one of the games and says "NO WAY, you have ......"
She'll come along when the time is right. Until then, enjoy your games!!!
Just not too much ;)

Seriously!
Why does no one in UT have arcade parties?!?
Because there's probably only 4 arcade collectors with 23 games between them in Utah! Half of them are too old to party! :)

Living in an arcade is awes... grea... coo... swe... different.

Good advice! Quite alot of excited and stoked women have came over, but they're either already taken, completely incompatible or WAY too old!

My ex-girlfriend actually used to go out with me on game runs and even with a bad back would help me flip them into the back of my truck. She LOVED pinballs and was slaughtering me near the end. She'd be at my house all day, I come home from work, she wants to play pinball... Ok, cool... then she destroys my score over and over! Come to find out she had been playing 3-6 hours a day on my machines sometimes!

Oh yeah, I don't really worry about it... I'm finally set on a path that if I didn't get married I could ALMOST be happy! :)

Except me that is.
Yeah, most of the ones I have met are older. Some just weird.
Sold a game to Clanggdein and will prob be selling a few more to him soon, he was nice.
But no one out here ever has any sort of get togethers...... so sad :(

WOW! What happened with that. Other than the fact that she was doing nothing all day except playing games.

Oh, that's kinda sad. Being married isn't that bad. If you didn't live so dang far away I would set you up on some dates.

She was an old girlfriend from Seattle... (a little over an hour away) We got back in contact and started dating again. She was finishing her schooling for being a veterinary worker and decided we were back in love and she moved out here. Everything was going great! But, she couldn't find a job out here. She would make an honest effort and go all over putting her name in. The best she found was a part time animal care. She started getting depressed and behind on her leftover bills from a divorce. Finally one night she told me that if she couldn't find a good job out here she was moving back home, I didn't cry or try to stop her, I understood. I told her she must follow her path and do what she wants to do, not to limit herself to Walmart and Safeway jobs. She called a few months later and wanted a one night reunion, but my dog had to go and eff that one up!!

Actually one of my dreams is to be married. There is no stronger positive feeling than that of knowing you have a partner 110% behind you and supporting your decisions and being there when you need them. I have felt my strongest when having a good woman at my side...

But, years ago after walking in on a girlfriend riding on top of one my friends, it started a big stone wall that I rarely let anyone past. It was at that time that I realized that I couldn't rely on counting that my partner would always be there no matter what for me, so, I geared my life towards self reliance and doing things alone. Its not all that bad, except maybe eating alone at restraunts and waking up alone. Hell, most guys couldn't have half of my collection because of their spouses, so in a way I'm fortunate that I have the collection first so its on my terms!! :)

I'm lucky that our WA state guys are pretty close knit, or at least we look out for one another!

Game Girl... how many arcade machines do you have?? How long have you been collecting?

Yikes! What an ordeal. It sounds like your better off.
You sound like such a great catch!
That is probably true, okay, I'm sure it is true.

Around 120+.
I had quite a childhood and grew up in and out of foster care until my siblings and I were adopted. My uncle used to take one of my sisters and I to the malls to play arcades ALL the time. He was the best! They were the one thing in life I could count on at that time. I knew no matter what happened with my crack head mother, that my uncle would take me to the arcade and those games would just be waiting for me. They really helped me to escape my reality.
I met my husband in high school in A+ Certification class. I was a Cheerleader and he a Hot computer geek! :) We started dating and it just went from there. I remember the first time I went to his house and he had games in his room and basement. I thought it was the coolest thing! It really took off when we moved in together. He has been collecting since he was 12, his first game was a Stargate.

He posts on here every now and then, he is more of a reader than a poster.....Evapa.

I was actually posting under his name when someone put up his R360 video and he got mad because he said I made him sound like a girl. So that's when I decided I should probably set up my own acct.

ROFLMAO! Are you hitting on me? Is this klov's first non-gay hookup?! :D Hahahahahaha!!!
I'm not too bad, if you can put up with someone who opens and holds doors, drives like a maniac and has dozens of arcade parts scattered across the house at any given time!

Karl, Seriously dude...you still have room for a Rampart 3P in there somewhere. Get on it man!
Not until I have room for triple the collection...

That is so bitchin'!!! I was going to ask when the marraige was until I saw you were married... I could handle sharing I guess! :D

120 is right around my goal space that I'm looking to buy... I don't care how shitty the house is, its gotta have a HUGE area for gameroom expansion and I must have them all in one room or area so I'm not LIVING inside of it!
