My Happ Analog Joystick for Your Monkey Ball Banana Joystick

I need one of the Banana Joystick assemblies for Monkey Ball. It should be working well and preferably still have the rubber on the bottom intact. I have a Happ Analog Joystick to trade. It works perfect. The Happ joystick is the same one found here:

Anyone have the banana joystick and want to sell or trade it?

Took me a while to find my Monkey Ball panel. It's a Sega standard candy cab panel so most folks running this game are using Japanese candy cabs and the vast majority of Monkey Ball arcade hardware was released in Japan. You might have better luck on a forum that deals with a higher percentage of import stuff. I found mine on neo-geo.com personally.

There are Japanese vendors that sell this. Expect to pay around $500 if you go that route.

Yeah, I've got requests posted on a couple other sites (arcadeotaku, shmups, etc) and am getting some response for a couple other parts I posted but nothing on the banana joystick yet. I'll probably just keep using the analog stick I have until I eventually find a banana joystick for sale. I have to get onto neo-geo.com one of these days.

Worse case scenario Ben would be to get one of those plastic, fake bananas they sell as decorations for your table (fake fruit) and roll with that....

I was thinking of having my 4-year old making me a banana out of Play-Dough then I can mount that to the joystick I already have. :)

I'd also like to know how you hooked up the happ joystick, does it require the small sega joystick amplifier/pcb or did you hook it directly to the I/O? Pics would be great. :)
