Hey All,

Feel like an idiot, but I want to make some gameplay adjustments to the PCB and can't get to the PCB's area in the back box. Opened the backglass door, but can't open the score board door to the PCB's? I'm a pro at this with Williams games but WTF?? I tried lifting the latch in the top middle and lifting and pulling out in the lower left to no avail?

Help??

After the door is open, lift up the whole wooden panel onto which the score displays, spinning disk, and lamps, are mounted. It only lifts about 1/2" or so, on its pivots at the right, then it opens out just like the first door did.

Mine sticks so much that I sometimes have to use a screwdriver to pry it up a little so it will swing open.

I just got a BH the other day. In my case I had to use the metal lift handle on the left and stick a finger under some random item on the right side as well. If I didn't lift on both sides it wouldn't pop up.

Thanks guys. Guess a little bit of force was required. What a weird backbox design!! Tough as hell to open and boards on the illogical side!! Made my adjustment, closed up, all good.

Maybe some WD40 on the hinges next time! :)

Yeah, all the System80's I've been around require you to push up somewhere on the right side and lift/pull out with the handle on the left. See the arrows in my attached picture for an example.
