Well not as much an arcade as some of you have, but it is my little corner of arcadey goodness.

I picked up the Turbo a few weeks ago on Craigslist and that got me looking around the area. I saw Kabukiman50's post on CL and then here on KLOV and decided to go for it. I had a conversion Mortal Kombat II at one point a number of years ago but sold it off when I got sick of moving it from apartment to apartment.

I've always really wanted a dedicated MK2, and here was this posting, with a Neo Geo 4 slot to boot. We agreed to $500 for both and after the struggle of getting these beasts onto my brother's pickup, they now reside in my garage.

The Super Nintendo kiosk I picked up at a local game shop a few years ago when they were going out of business for $75. Needed some TLC and the TV repaired but it's back in full effect now, running StarFox in the pic below.

Eventually when we add on to our house I will have a dedicated game room but for now the garage will have to do!

He hooked you up with a great deal on those. Nice and welcome!

Agreed, they're great machines. I plan to get a multicart for the NeoGeo.

I'm glad you made it home safely I hope you enjoy them, it was a pleasure meeting you

Yeah it was an interesting ride for sure - kept my eye on the rearview the whole time and took the turns very slowly! We did get some interesting looks for sure too.

Like I said, any time you're coming by on your way to Ohio and I'm home you can stop in and get some game on. Always happy to have someone to play against who isn't 3 years old ;)

Supremely jealous of that SNES kiosk!!

Thanks! The only bummer is that it automatically resets every 15 minutes or so (to keep kids off the machine at the store) - haven't figured out how to disable that yet. I've got an Atari Jaguar kiosk too but it's in my house. I've attached a pic.

Glad that you are proud of it. As that is all that matters!

Nice Virtual Boy... good to see someone else giving that system some well deserved love ;) .
