After 2 months of bouncing around in trucks and a sea container the games I packed for my Aussie game room arrived today. They made it without any damage. It was like Christmas......now I am looking forward to setting them up in the house.

It was a gooooood day mate!

You need to change your vaps listing. your not in texas anymore. Glad to hear they made it safe. Where they indivdually strapped in the cargo container or was it just so full they could not move?

Glad they made it ok,do you have everything to start the resto on the galaga? Its weird see'ing one of my old games that far away.

Wow.... Instant game room! Everything there looks really nice. Awesome that they all survived the trip with no damage!

I bought all of the items to restore the Galaga and they are inside the game...

Should make for a nice resto.

Yea, it was quite a trip....almost 9,000 miles!

The games were wrapped in saran wrap, then padded paper, then cardboard. They were also lumped together in the container and tied to the wall.

When you come home, you ought to sell off the collection (which should be worth a huge premium in AU), fill your return container with the stuff that is cheap in AU but expensive here (lowboys, candy cabs, early dedicated japanese cabs, etc), and then rebuy the collection in America.

OK, got them all in the house (except Pacman cocktail) and up and running. I was actually surprised that after the long trip they all came up working!

Here is my Aussie Arcade.

You are going to have a line of people down the street waiting to play your games there! I would have been a wreck every day until they showed up. I would have been tracking that ship via GPS LOL

Thanks guys...it was alot of work but worth it.

I bought 5 (500w) step down converters running 2 per. They seem to be working.

I was tired but managed to get a few games of Robotron in. Love that game.

Really nice line up you took with you and they all look to be in nice shape. That should keep you happy for a couple of years. :)

That's a great collection of games to have ANYWHERE in the world. Glad they arrived safe and sound!
