Gotta follow me real close! I found it on CL here in Oregon. Since i knew it would go fast I offered more than the $50 listing.. So I get a call saying that his highest offer is $100 but since I was the first one to contact him if I met the offer It was mine.. SOLD! So off I went to get it...

I just got her home and I opened the coin door and inside was $76 in quarters! The owner knew money was in it and said no worries, its yours, it should be about $25.. wow he was way off!

So, I am quite stoked! The cabinet serial # is 3170 and all numbers match! BONUS!

The only thing is that the monitor wont fire.. Anyone in Oregon do monitor work? I want to keep the original GO7 since it has the 3170 stamp on it.

That is a really nice machine you have there. Even prettier with the stacks of quarters. Congrats!

Okay, now a picture of how many plays on the coin meter? ;)

LOL! 52,800. I dont know if the machine was restored before or not but it is in amazing shape if it is all original decals and CPO... normal wear there.

just wondering on the quarters are they early 80's quarters? I wonder how long those have been in there.

If the past owners knew they where in there why did'nt they remove them?

Or where they paying too play there own game?

The quarters are a mix of years. Who knows how long they were in there. Yes, the locks had to be drilled as the key on the front was broken off and the rear was held with screws. It does look like whomever sold this to them didnt set it for free play. Why I have no clue. I got the lock drilled and the back off and just looked in awe at the pile of quarters. My kids dove and and ran inside to count them.

I need someone to look at the monitor and then start a good cleaning and then some touch up and new t molding and new light for the marquee.. Going to reapint the coin door and install new locks. The back door is chipped badly, so I am going to cut another and route the vent holes saving the original screen mesh to re re-installed.

Cant wait to get her working!

Thanks, I feel real lucky to have gotten this. I was out looking for retail space when I got the call...

Most I have ever found in a game was one of my most recent purchases, $21.85 inside my Terminator 2. It was also accompanied by 472 tokens. Followed by a close second was $17.01 inside a Super Strike that was given to me for (practically) free.

Looks like youre off to a wonderful start!

Great job! Beauty of a cab, man. For monitor work, PM oregonarcade. He could probably help you out. He's away from his computer for the next day or two, as he's down in Eugene working.

Where in Oregon did you find that? I used to live in Medford. If I had head of something like that when I lived there, I would have been all over it.

Hey! I found it in Springfield. It is in amazing shape. I dont think I could have been luckier except for it o be totally working.

Since I have always been a collector and been to busy to learn, would you be willing to come over and see what the monitor needs? Please? Oregon Pacman, your my only hope!

Please let me know if you could!

Thanks!

Matt
