My friend fixed a Space Harrier PCB in an interesting way

I have an interesting space harrier PCB fix to document here (finally have permission to post this):

My friend had a non working space harrier with a lot of graphical glitches, my friend is working in a place where there isn't a lot of money to fix games and parts do not come easy. Sometimes there isn't the exact part needed to fix the game so they need to make up a fix to get it going. If they don't fix the game then it might go into the trash which is a very bad thing.

I can't explain this perfectly but I have included pictures to explain. My friend took a modern ram chip and soldered it to the board using jumpers because the original ram chip was bad and causing graphics glitches. I do not know how my friend discovered which was the bad ram chip.

The first picture is what the game looked like before it was fixed, the second picture is the fix on the PCB and the third picture is the game after it was fixed and now the game is working perfectly after the fix and it was saved from the dumpster.
