So I finally got around to getting this a little closer to how it was originally.
Obviously it was converted... but the process was a little more in depth than most conversions (IMO)
Here is what I think happened - the original art was pulled off the whole game - I think a stripper of some sort was used and then the machine was sprayed yellow. I dont think enough time was allowed or proper prep was taken - because the yellow paint was checked worse than I have ever seen any paint job. I sanded this thing down to the bare wood - primed it and then used spray cans to apply a white finish that reproduction art work could easily cling to. Now I am just waiting for the art package and then I can finish this thing up.
(oh I also need an actual glass bezel - the cardboard inkjet crap that I have looks horrible)

I love how after you work with arcade games a while you can tell what games used to be, even if they have gone thru some pretty hard times and conversions.

Looks alike a fun restoration. It's what I love to see. Games being brought back to life.

+1.

This will look really nice once completed.

I have a original Food Fight glass bezel that I'd sell. Condition? Certainly not mint. You be the judge.

When are you or a buddy coming to Chicago area? Or I might be coming to Milwaukee and could drop it off there. I don't want to ship it. $88.

The cabinet looks really solid. That is shaping up to be a nice restoration.

Joe - thanks for the offer - but as hard as these bezels are to find - I know if I put that one on - I would be bothered by it as much as the repo thats on the machine now. If it was cheap I would grab it... thanks again though
