So I'm looking to swap out my K7000 tube (photos attached - I accidentally chipped off the end of the tube on the neck).

I picked up 6 19" tvs in the hopes they'd be good candidates for swaps. They are all the same. They model # is: PS 1964 C125 ( Philips )

So I swapped everything out and as I got into it, eventually noticed the socket sizes don't match up. The new tube has a bigger socket. Damn.

What's the best way forward? Get a new neck board? Swap sockets? Find a better donor tv?

thanks!

your tubes are 10 pin necks. your K7000 socket is for 8 pin.

there's some incompatibilities between the neckboards and certain model K7000s from my personal experience, you may want to talk to Buffett.

reminds me, I have a 19" chassis I need to test on a donor tube I acquired too.
