This evening I mad my first game trade. I had a Centipede in pretty nice shape that I got a short time back. I like the game, but never played it that much. I really only have room for 8 games so I need them to be games that I really want or my daughter loved to play.

I put the Centipede up on the local craigslist and got a few bites. I had a guy who live about 2 hours south of me offer up a Pac-Man for trade. He made it up to my place tonight and made the trade.

The cab is in pretty good shape, the monitor looks good, the marquee is excellent, the bezel has a little flaking and the control panel is good. It has the speed chip which I actually prefer over normal speed.

Overall happy with the trade. What is the easiest/best way to have Pac normal/fast and Ms Pac normal/fast in this cab??????

Here's a pic of the centipede and the Pac. - Barry

Looks like a good trade. The Pac might be worth a bit more, but IMO it looks like a pretty straight across trade.

I use the Souza 4-in-1 mod in mine to get exactly that comboof games (and nothing more!). I'm local if you ever wanted to check it out. I'll have my pac at the show next weekend, but it'll have a stock board in it there.

The mod keeps high scores for each mode separately, keeps a screen full of high scores instead if just initials, etc. I bought a board premodded from a friend if Souza. I can dig up the contact info if you are interested.

Yeah, you did a pretty nice trade there. That pac looks like it is in pretty good shape. Even the side art is very nice... no need to worry about re-stencilling.

looks like you made out pretty good!
I love the Centi side art but the gameplay is very tiresome to me...
Plus Im sure your daughter will love the Pac as all kids do!

I can find ya pacman. If you get like me you have owned the game soo many times its lost its WOW factor !!

I think you should have gotten +$100

Centipede in that shape is worth $450-$600.
pacman in that shape is worth $350-$450.

If the pacman had zero burn monitor, then I would have said fair.

I would suggest you just add a mike doyle 96 in 1 kit for it.

Considering what I had into the Centipede I came out fine. In this part of the country Pac's tend to go for big money even if they are trashed ususally 600+. I had the Centipede on CL for $425 and couldn't get a serious cash offer. I could probably sell the Pac for $500 easy. But I think I may hold onto it for a while. We'll see. - Barry

Yeah Gary that would be cool. I's like to see how the install is on that. I think that will do everything I need for now. See you at the show and I still owe you $2. - Barry
