And its a HUO Gold Wings pinball!!!

My coworker's church was redoing their rec room and they bought this machine new in '87. Lately the ball release stopped working and it sat unused for a long time. He asked if I wanted it and I asked how much. He insisted that they were just going to dump it and I could have it if I wanted. I insisted on spotting a litte cash, but they insisted the room they were reclaiming was more than the could have asked for. After a little poking and prodding, it looks to be an issue with the driver board unfortunately. Plus, whoever they hired to fix it in the past really hacked up a few wires. Oh well, free just means I can put more money into making it SUPER nice. The playfield is in mint condition, just needs a little waxing and some rubbers. I plan to make this machine the first machine I fully disassemble and shop out correctly and I will document it in the restoration forums.

Wow that's a sweet score for free. Amazing, looks to be in great great shape too. They must go to a really awesome Church to have one of those in the rec room.

Very nice. Love the theme too. Never actually played that one though. You'll have to post up your thoughts on it once you get it going

Amazing! I have never had an offer like that before, still waiting for one.

So Top Gun! Its funny- the 80s had so many fun wannabe titles that couldn't spot expensive licensing or something. I have a pin just like that called "Secret Service" which is so obviously James Bond 007 with Rodger Moore's likeness on it and all.
