Yesterday I got a jurassic park pinball, I'm hoping the pictures uploaded correctly, I'm doing this from my phone, no computer..

It only let me upload 5 pictures. The machine is in pretty good shape. It used to be in an arcade back in the day, then sat in a storage unit for about a decade...I only paid $400 for it. From my friends who have machines of their own, they said I got a deal :) the only issue, aside from dust and a few knicks and cracks in the wood, I just noticed this morning, the trex lights might have a short or something...they don't light up when the ball gets eaten...

This is my first post, so I hope I did well :)

That's awesome dude. Now you can compete with the big boys. David's high score is 655 million and mine's 522 million. Both pitiful.

Seriously... It's hard to imagine a better deal. You did great. Could easily have been $800 to $1300 (in my opinion).

Now... in addition to here, don't forget about rec.games.pinball. Also, I recommend (in no order)

1) pinballlife.com
2) bayareaamusements.com
3) marcospec.com
4) Pinball Resource (call them)

For parts...

The manual will be on ipdb.org.

Enjoy it!

If I remember correctly, those are just spotlights that are always on. Maybe your bulbs are just burnt? If anything, their lighting is pretty weak even w/ a working bulb...I recommend a high powered LED from bcspinball or cointaker.

$400 for a JP? As stated above... you got a kickass deal.

Yeah, I thought I was running away w/ a steal when I got a JP for $800....dayuuumn.

I think he's talking about the 4 vertical lights on the apron that spell T REX.

Congrats man it looks awesome! I'm trying to score my first pinball machine too, hopefully I'll get lucky too!
