Any feedback would be great.

Looking for sites that sell the plastics and good prices on LED. I have ordered just helmet LEDs from Pinball life but just testing the waters.

Thanks.

My Bride is the most fun pin I own in terms of gameplay. I recommend Bay Area Amusements or Marco Specialties for replacement parts. But plastics have yet to be made, I am waiting for some too.

Nice, BOP is a fun pin. I like the LEDs from BCs -- I have used his stuff on most of my pins and love the way they look, and the JackBot looks especially good with his LEDs.

Congrats on the game, I use both cointaker and pbl LEDs, depends on what I am doing. With respect to the helmet, dome LEDs look best IMO. You might also consider a kit from cointaker.

Are you one of the lucky BOP owners who have one with a 'Diamond Plate' or a XR7 playfield?

Nope but mine was imported from Germany if that makes a difference.

(When I return it to factory settings it goes to German and the power sticker is in German and says 220v.

Congrats on getting bride. I am on the fence on if I want this machine or not. Sometimes it feels like just left ramp, left ramp, left ramp, to me... The dmd conversion that is being worked on looks really cool though!

The main points gained is left ramp. Good luck at multiball juggling 2 balls trying to get metamorphosis. I enjoy it a lot.

This was my first pin as well, one of my all time favorites...

In terms of things to watch out for, do get a cliffy's ramp protector kit, the heart ramp especially likes to crack since it's such a tight space. Even a little cracking on this will result in a lot of missed shots.

An LED kit makes a huge difference with this as well, match colors for under the decals for more vibrant colors, or order a kit from cointaker.com or your fav pinball parts place.

As far as I've seen, they don't have a repro playfield or plastics kit for this, so do your best to keep these in as good of shape as possible.

Check the roms as well, my particular BOP was an early production version and had prototype game and sound roms, so some of the lighting effects, noises and songs were a bit off or missing.

While I'm on the subject, has anybody found LED's for the helmet attachment that don't do ghosting? I have the modified ROM that is supposed to get rid of ghosting entirely and anti ghost LEDs from cointaker, but I'm still getting flickering on the helmet lights when certain light combinations come up:

I got $37 in ghost busters for my helm. No ghosting.

I'm about 50% Led now.

I guess I'll have to give those a try... The LEDs I got are the standard helmet kit from cointaker, so I suppose I'd have to recommend avoiding those unless the user doesn't mind the ghosting effect. All the rest of their LEDs from the BOP kit work great though and haven't given me any problems. I would recommend frosted lights for the GE since sometimes the superbrights are a bit intense when you catch a glimpse of them directly.

Just checked pinball life, the ghost buster LEDs they have are the cylinder shaped tops, anybody know where to get some with a frosted dome top that will have the same anti ghosting effect?

Cointaker Premium frosted are non ghosting.

I don't think it's in the original kit, but pretty sure you can "upgrade" to them.

Yeah that's a bit unfortunate. This is the kit i got:

http://shop.cointaker.com/product.sc?productId=1010&categoryId=-1

Just got a response from them:
"The ones in the kit are not non ghosting, however we do have premium
frosted's available (non ghost).

The are under the premium category on our website."

Fair enough, though it seems a shame that they would knowingly include LEDs that have a ghosting issue in their most expensive kit for the game without disclosing this. Oh well, buyer beware, I'll bite the bullet and order some more.
