Thanks to everyone talking about how great Sea Wolf is...I ended up picking a project one up from TNT. I've been curious to check one out and since it was local decided to jump on it.

This one is a project though - the bezel is missing, the step is missing, and the motherboard edge connector was lopped off the harness. One other thing I noticed is that the front piece of the periscope is broken; I'm not sure if thats supposed to have a piece of plexi on it or what.

I didn't realize how involved these things are with the mirrors and all! I thought the periscope just hangs there and you look through it to the screen. And its heavy too!

I know mame marquees has the ability to reprint a bezel - has anyone used this? If so..PICS! :)

Sea Wolf is probably my favorite game. The way it looks, the sounds, and its fun. Worth the effort imho. I think you can find an edge connector that you can put on there that will work.

Sweeeeet! Congrats, man. I too have recently joined the Sea Wolf club- though mine is currently awaiting shipment from IL.

Post some pics!

Sea Wolf, Stunt Cycle and the EM game called Sea Devil are the core that set me up to be an arcade game fan for life. The later Golden Age stuff kind of put those simpler games on the back burner, but they will always be burnt into my memory as my first experiences with coin op.

I can still remember the crazy PT Boat sound. Can't wait to hear you report this one lives! Great pickup!

Im hoping itll be fairly soon! I looked at it earlier in the truck and I think I can put a molex where the wires are cut off and cleanly extend it back out.

The periscope stuff seems all completely loose, all the screws need to be tightened.

Two questions-

1. Is this supposed to have a blue gel on the monitor?
2. Is there supposed to be a piece of plexi on the front part of the periscope?

question #1: yes, there is a blue monitor overlay affixed into a cardboard piece with blacklight activated paint.

question #2: yes, there is a piece of plexi, it has an elongated clear area to see thru, and the rest is blacked out to give a better "periscope effect" when you look thru it. PM me if you need some pics later on.
