I picked up an Earthshaker pinball this weekend and its my first newer style pinball. My initial opinion is wow, these things are a blast. It neede some work and parts to get it going and thanks to fellow klover Tim its now up and operational.

What do you like about it over your previous pins?

Well my previous pins are both EM's. One is a 1975 Red Baron and the other is a 1971 Home run. While the Home run is pretty fun for an older game they dont offer much other than score or points accumulation. On the newer pin Im not even paying attention to the score and more trying to aim for skill shots in order to progress further into the game.
I think my video games are in trouble I can see this pin getting alot of attention :).

Welcome to the "gateway drug". However, there is plenty of room for BOTH vids and pins. They are addictive, though. I am up to 5 pins and keep saying this will be the last one as I am waiting for the sixth one to arrive.

Earthshaker is a permanent part of my collection and always fun to come back to and play. Also one of the favorites of my guests. Pat Lawler was part of the design team. He and Steve Ritchie are my two favorite designers and all of my keepers are their handiwork.

That is the Best way to buy stuff like that though... Cash and patience....

A deal can always be had if you have cash and patience.
