AfterBurner and man it was a pain in the ass to load and unload. I got it last Saturday from Copious in NJ cool guy we spent a while getting it loaded up on a dolly I made to transport the game. This is the first time I have had a chance to even get on here to talk about it. I haven't even had the time to reattach the coin box and play the thing yet. Was busy all day yesterday was out of state in NJ again today and will be leaving tomorrow again for NJ for Thanksgiving. Im hoping next Monday I can get some work done on the game. In the pictures you can see on the left side the plastic cover plate is missing anyone traveling southbound on the NJ Turn pike keep a look out for it LOL. I lost it somewhere in between Piscataway, NJ and the Chester exit. That will teach me not to wrap a game for transport talk about a rookie mistake. I should be able to make one I have a basic plastic forming set up so I will give that a try at some point. I also need to locate a new back canape glass since this one is cracked if any one has one hold on to it for me.

It's funny I don't remember this thing being this big when I last saw it some time around 1988-1990.

Very cool bman- I had my eye on a steal of a cockpit a few weeks ago, and then it hit me that if I opted for it, it would have to sit in my living room. That would never work with the wife!! :(

LOL! Sorry..but thats kinda funny!! Sorry for your loss...and...nice score!!!

Nice, its awesome that you have enough space in your gameroom to hold that beast! I've never actually played After Burner before, how fun is it?

Does it work ?? The seat moves , right ? Or am I thinking of a different game ,

Oh yeah it works the seat moves back and forth inside the cockpit and the outside of the cockpit body rocks forward and backwards when the jet takes off in the game. I only played it for like five min before I loaded it up there are like 10 wire clips and a few bolts that have to be connected on the side coin door unit then it will work.

After I got over being pissed off about the plastic piece flying off yeah I do think its kind of funny. Cant predict everything life throws at you best to just roll with it. Hell I couldn't have predicted in January this year that this monster would be sitting in my garage this week.

If anyone is considering getting one have a bunch of friends handy. make sure you go to harbor freights and buy some heavy duty wheels to make a dolly and for god sakes wrap the game before you get on the highway LOL.

I cant get over the fact that this heavy ass cabinet has nylon wheels on it they were basically crushed after bearing over 20 years of 800lbs.

Nice to see it has a new home, I'll be driving the Turnpike tonight and I'll keep my eyes peeled for that piece.

I was gong to talk about my first cockpit, but then I thought she would be upset with me - LOL!
Seriously congrats on the buy!! I saw one last year at the Milwaukee auction, and I think it started on fire when they tried to plug it in!!
Enjoy it!!

Well off to NJ again for a 4 day weekend can't wait to dive into this one once I get back. Good luck finding that piece I bet someone ran over the thing by now.

Nice score, and a good choice for your first cockpit! Mine is an upright, I think it's a blast to play. By the way, does anyone have the small square panel that goes on the bottom right side of the cab? Mine is missing one.
