I have been looking to add a classic to my collection for some time now and a decent one finally popped up on my local craigslist. Nabbed it for $200

There is some burn in and a little damage near the bottom of the cab on both sides. Overall I think it's in pretty good shape and I'm happy with the purchase. The screen is nice and bright (cant see burn in when on ) and the previous owner installed a great fan in the back door.

I don't have nay real nostalgia for this game but I DO enjoy it and I can't wait to get in to some high score battles with my buds. Any Dig Dug owners have any words of wisdom for me?

Wow, looks like it's in nice condition.
I myself started with the JAMMA stuff and soon after realized that the classics were the way to go. There was so much more of a challenge to them. Getting high scores was a big part of that too.
Now my collection is slowly becoming mostly classics.

You got one just like me. Lol, but you may have gotten a better deal considering my game board is dead at the moment. But I always enjoy a good project and a pretty looking cabinet.

Nice.

Always wanted to restore a Dig-Dug or Centipede, but terrified of applying side art that large :) .
