My first "Barn" find....

Years ago a friend told me about a guy that had a bunch of games in an old barn, so I got ahold of him to see what he had. The barn itself looked like it was about to fall over with half the roof missing, so I wasn't really expecting to find anything good. He had about 15 games in there, most we just off the wall crap games that no one would really want, but he did have a couple of Sega Turbos, a Mat Mania, and the one that I ending up buying a very nice Gyruss. Well, it didn't look like a nice game at first. Was covered in dust, which chicken shit all over it, plus when we plugged it in, there was a picture buy no sound, plus the joystick was seized up. Gave the guy $200, brought it home and started to clean it. Underneath all the crap was a beautiful game. The CPO was mint with no cracks(which was a shock), and the rest of the game was just nice. A little bit of Kroil freed up the Joystick, and come to find out the speakers were just dead from sitting through about 7 seasons of winter in that barn and just needed to be replaced.

$250 WOW! around here people would be asking $900 working or not. for one.

OMG, I know what you mean. I dont know what the hell it is with people here in Michigan. I would own a lot more games if people in this damn state would sell them at a reasonable price. Plus you gotta love the ones that want mint condition prices for shitty looking games.
