What a moron -- very rare! Sells for $1800 on ebay all the time!
Only $400 but needs a new monitor and new sideart and God knows what else?
Some of us need to email the guy and offer him $100.

I hate using Paypal, but sometimes you have to. I won a Sinistar last week from an unknown seller and I paid immediately after the auction ended with Paypal because I didn't know him and thought about this exact situation. I talked to him on the phone the next day and explained it to him and he totally understood. Sorry to hear about this, but another one will eventually come along. The always do sooner or later.

If Ebay cancels the listing you cannot leave feedback. Anything you do is not going to get you that game at least from him. It is not worth the effort so I would just move on. It is like when I sell a 10.00 Skyshark board and the guy bitches and blackmails me on feedback I just refund and move on. Well I may not of moved on completely and karma got him DAVE but I have refunded peoples money and not worried about it. He may of screwed you a little but it always comes back to them 10 fold so the good book says. Karma is a BITCH

Sounds like a flake. You're better off not dealing with him. Since you're not out any money, just move on. There's more than eleventy bazillion Ms Pacs out there, another will come up.
As far as the 1 hour bullshit on ebay, their policy is payment within 7 days, no matter what the seller said in his auction. I tried to file a non payment bidder once on someone 6 days after non payment because it was a time sensitive item, and they wouldn't let me until after 7 days.

Also, get a friend to do a fake transaction with him over email so it is clear he still truely has the game.
I think a small claims filing costs about 30 bucks for up to 1500. Now you have to replace the Ms. Pac you were buying with a 1200.00 one, so he owes you the 1000.00 difference
The very least we can do is flag the shit out of that craigslist listing...

What a joke those are the same pictures he had on the eBay auction. Probably a scammer. I think I'll just neg him and be done with it. He hasn't responded to any of my e-mails following his request to cancel the auction.
I say just neg him and be done with it. If we wanted the $200 within an hour, he was probably scamming and was ready to take your money and cancel paypal and ebay account. Atleast with Paypal you have some kind of protection. I did a buy it now recently and the seller cancelled his ebay account and paypal. I got a refund from Paypal so I was ok with it but it was a steal for that price.

I'd file the $30 small claims fee to make it right. Do it in Long Beach so he will have to travel to your neck of the woods hopefully during rush hour traffic Purchase a better Ms. Pac and have him pay you the difference in having to replace it
