Not bad... I was thinking about doing something similar.. But using a GT cab to do a MAME.. Nice machine.. Why you selling?

cab

I love the machine but I didn't build it to keep it. If I don't sell it for a reasonable price I'll bring it inside to join my other dedicated midways. I'm a new fan of Coin Ops. Excellent emulator. I highly recommend it.

Pretty cool I'm sure a casual arcade gamer will take it in a heartbeat. :D

I really wanna get a cab and throw my Wii in it to make a dedicated Tatsunoko vs. Capcom machine, it is begging me to play it in a cab. :D

"She" is certainly a beast. I can't tell if this is a sarcastic thread or not.

I was wondering the same. In any case, it should probably be in the external trading forum, since all it is is a link to a CL ad. It's not really a restoration.

I'll remove the CL link. I just wanted to share my cab creation. Thanks Klovers.

Awesome game. Great idea.

Hardware

I suppose you buy only OEM products for your car or motorcycle. I suppose we should leave race cars to do the racing around here. You're no fun dude. Seems this forum is filled with party poopers.

Nah, this forum is mostly for arcade preservationists. MAME and other emulators don't respect around here. Not from me, either. It looks good though. Sell it and buy some real cabinets.

Truth be told. The money is going toward rebuilding and repairing "real" arcade machines. Love it or hate it but she will help preserve some dedicated cabs.

Mame is for gamers and dedicated originals are for collectors.

For me, I'm a gamer first, collector second. Can't imagine having 50+ of my favorite arcade games in dedicated machines (and swapping boards is a pain!) to each their own; don't knock stuff you might not fully understand.

I think it's cool to have some diversity in the hobby. Some of us are hardcore classic gamers, some of us enjoy working with our hands and restoring machines to their former glory, some of us (myself included) see arcade machines as really cool, lit-up, collectable pop art, and other of us like to blend the classic with the modern. I take no issue with any of these pursuits. Just my $.02.

I have no problem with MAME cabs as long as they stay out of any cabinet made before 1984.

But Golden Tee is crap anyway, so MAME those cabs until the cows come home, as far as I'm concerned.

xbox cab

I dislike Golden Tee with a purple passion but it was a free cab so I did what I could to use what was available. I love modifying and retrofitting. It's a welcomed struggle. I'm truly a gear head at heart. Thanks for the support guys. Happy gaming.
