I agree with pacfan. Be respectful, get his phone number and call him to schedule a time to pick it up, bring cash to close the deal. He probably had some clown contact him and offer more money and flake out or not have the cash. Appealed to his sense of greed. If you want it just get it and don't worry about the bullshit.

He gave me 2 days to make $100 deposit and come up with concrete pickup date.
I was not able to do this in the time allowed. He said he is relisting it today....
I was suprised with his lack of patience with me considering what happenned on his end.
Ohwell, he doesn't have the only pinball machine in the usa lol. Seems a little shady don't wanna deal with him really....

Wow, I meant to bid on that pin and forgot all about it till the auction was over. Glad I didn't get caught up in that drama. Hopefully the new auction will end for 1/2 the last one to teach this douche a lesson.

What exactly was your plan once you won this? Methinks this might have a bit to do with why the seller has an attitude.
And two days is plenty of time to put your payment down, if you actually intended to buy it. Don't bid unless you're ready to grab.

Its better to just call it off especially since he is so far away! You never know what it will look like when you get there or if you will get a call mid trip telling you to turn around.
This is a good lesson for others though... I know you want to jump out and make smart comments but don't.

it woulda been paid and picked up wednesday bright and early if it wasnt for the fiasco on his end. wed is my last day off for the week.
Him giving me 48 hrs to make deposit/ notify him of the date im coming doesnt seem that reasonable to me since he didnt say that in the auction.... if he did however then that would be different.
