I've checked and double checked... installed and removed the kit a couple times to make sure I'm not nuts...

The board set works fine... no problems. With the kit installed I cannot select the game... splash screen comes up, pull the trigger, game select screen comes up and that's where it stops... can't do anything at that point.

I bought the kit from a klov'r... It appears new. I know zip about these kits... Just that they are AWESOME and I'm desperate to get this going.

Anyone know anything about specific compatibility issues with the kit? I'm wondering if I would need a board mod or something.

Thanks in advance for the help!!

heres some instructions on how to install it...

http://widel.com/files/440inst.htm

now i dont have a who dun it board.. but i can say that regardless of what the instructions say about working with this board and that board is i have tested this kit with a number of bords that i own..

first off the 2 boards that i find for it to work 100% is crossbow and cheyenne..

i have tested it on a combat board, which works, but seems to be missing sounds.. im gussing the audio board for combat is different then xbow and cheynne

(these are 100% working boards by the way)

Showdown works with issues.. cant remeber
Hit and miss doesnt work...

You might wanna try throwing dip switches to see if you have a crossbow audio on a who dun it video board... I think i remeber you saying thats what it was, i could be mistaken... But it says in those insturctions something about mis-matching xbow audio boards....

the only thing i dont understand is... you can switch a audio xbow with a cheyenne but you cant put that xbow audio on a combat video.. just wont work... ive tried....

so all i can say is this... i dont think it works with your board set, i dont think they had the abilitly to test it on one of those boards.... I think when they did the other run of the multis, they wanted someone to test it on a who dun it, but no one on here had one of those boards at that moment....

Been through all of the setup and dip switch settings... The kit will only come up if they are correct.

I agree I don't think it works with my board. I wish I knew a bit more about it... I would mod the board if it were to be a sensible modification.

Ok... Got myself a Crossbow set ... Just to compare the boards... My who dunit and the crossbow set are the same rev with the same parts and the same factory mods. I even swapped out all of the bproms to be sure... no diff.

I'm starting to think I got a bum kit :(

I know this is a huge thing to ask... but would anyone be able to test my kit for me in a known working collexn setup???

Thanks!
