A few weeks ago I picked up a Dig Dug and Centipede, both are decent shape but need a few things done.
The monitor on the Dig Dug crapped out on me, I'll be working on it soon. Here's the thread for that. http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=133606

The cabs had some cosmetic issues that needed to be worked on.

2 corners of the Centipede were chipped off.

I read around and noticed people were recommending Bondo, I have no experience with the stuff so I figured I'd give it a try on one corner and if I do all right then I'll do the other.

I read that because of age of the cab it could be any shade of white so I went to the hardware store and picked up pretty much every shade of white I could find and matched it the best that I could.

Here's the finished corner.

The side of the cp of the Dig Dug was also chipped off so I knocked that out as well.

I have one last corner left on the centipede, I'll have that done soon. There's a few other things that need done here and there, marquee light to the dig dug blows out instantly, coin doors need restored and the back doors need locks added, they're only held on by a screw!

Looks better, but I think I agree with the Superully. Remove that t-molding, sand it down nice and smooth and make it perfect!

Also, next time you need a color match, take a paint chip to the paint store and they'll computer-mix a can up for you.

hey for the first time using bondo I think you did a pretty good job! I hate working with that stuff! I'm working on the corners of my frogger...its a pain. keep up the good work!
