On Sat night, while playing my TRON, my 4-year old was by my side, watching as she always does. She was asking alot of questions about what was what, and I showed her the TRON movie last year but she was only 3 and wasn't really getting it. But now at 4, she's really starting to follow things more so, I broke out the movie and we watched some of it again. She now is starting to see how the game relates to the movie. She also loves the lightcycles, which were also my favorite as a kid. It was thanks to them and Evel Knievel that I became a motorcycle rider today.

I also showed her the TRON 2010 trailer today on youtube and she just kept saying "when does that come out daddy, when does that come out??" So, when my wife bails on me for the opening day of it, at least I know my daughter will be there with me!

PS: I wish they kept the logo as "TR2N".. I just thought that was so badass when it lit up like that on the Comic Con copy..

I'm right there with you. My 8 year old asks a ton of questions about games. He watched me playing TRON all weekend (thanks to you!) and will soon pass my high score. He also plays my 60 in 1 all day. My wife has been playing it a lot also. I never knew she liked arcade games. Sh e tells me the other day she was trying to remember her patterns for Pac Man!

You simply can't beat the trip back in time these games can provide for many (ie your wife). And now with your son playing them right there beside you, you guys can all enjoy the hobby together.

Glad I could help! Those boards have been sitting in my garage for a year!
