Get an 8-ball from a kid's size pool table and make a custom shooter knob. That would be suwheet and tie in with the rat rod well.

I did think of the 8ball shooter knob but there are some cool Ratfink shifter knobs on ebay and Hot Rod shops so might cough up for one of those instead.

No it is a fairly modern comic book based on an alternate universe WW2 theme with Zombies, Walking Tanks, intelligent science altered gorillas and Hot Chicks

Thanks John. The 2 weeks of nights I had set aside to finish this have gone because I was sent out of town for work. Just got home yesterday
The pin won't be finished by this weekend when you are over. I hope to get at least get the art on to the playfield this week, so I will bring that to the meet if its done.

I picked up the new plastics and the new light inserts. They fit real nice When I find my USB stick I will have another final look at the artwork before the printing this week.

You should rig it so that it plays selected cuts (via MP3 or CD) from White Zombie's La Sexorcisto: Devil Music, Vol. 1 on a loop. "Welcome to Planet Motherfucker", "Thunderkiss '65", "Grindhouse (A Go-Go)", "Soul Crusher", "Black Sunshine"...that would be all kinds of badass.

Yeah music is going to be added and White Zombie will be on the playlist Every switch is going to be wired for sound as well. More on that soon too.

I was happy enough to blow a coat of white on it to see what it looks like:

A few imperections also show up when you give it its first coat so I need to fix them up before the finals. What you see there is about 2 hours of solid sanding and priming

I finally added all the insert text etc but forgot to convert two words of text to an outline, so it couldn't be printed because the shop didn't have that font :cry Oh well, 4 clicks of the mouse and its done. Finally, lol. This will be printed on Monday and will be my first chance to see how things align

Um, err, hi!

So much time has past again

I really need to get this done so I did a bit more over the last week or so. So you may remember that I had some new inserts cut:

In this shot I was testing the colour scheme:

Sunlight shining through:

Some of the inserts sat really nice but some went in about 1mm deeper. I suspect that was a factory mistake as all the new inserts are the same thickness so I have had to build up the difference with some lacquer.

I used a syringe to suck up the lacquer and apply it to the inserts:

I have a one small piece to fix up and then it can be sanded and clear coated ready for the decal. I did another test print in full scale to check registration.

Of course there were mistakes

Targets, left inlane and kickouts need adjusting:
