A bezel for Aliens is really hard to find, too expensive and just plain boring. So I decided to create my own. I used styrene .04 so it was more durable. I think it turned out great!
What do you think?
After doing this, I may do one for Vs. Castlevania.

looks fantastic, and yea details on how it was printed would be cool. You should make more and sell them :)

Thanks all. Yeah I was pretty fired up about how it turned out.
I found an image that I liked and then photoshoped it to be between 150 - 300 DPI. I made the image as large as possible without losing the quality. It was a few megs I think.
I then took it to FedEx Kinkos where I know the manager. He cut me a HUGE deal on it and had it made. Took about 24 hours only and the cost was around $28!!!!! Considering the normal aliens bezel costs about 2 times that much I figured this was a steal! Plus it looks so much better.
I had them print it on .04 Styrene so that it was much more durable and shiny. I had to cut it myself, which took some time. Just used a razor blade.
My aliens resto was always about doing it a little bit more personalized, and I think this added a huge touch.
Now that I have done this and feel comfortable, I am thinking about doing a Vs. Castlevania. They never had a bezel for it and I think I could make a nice one using original art.

What a novel idea.

No wonder people have to bump their own threads these days.

Yep. I commented a bunch on that thread. I think it's a great idea. I am going to come up with a few ideas and just do it. Enough talk.
The only thing is that my Vs. Castlevania is in a MIDWAY pac man cab. (sucks). So I need the specific measurements for a regular NINTENDO with a horizontal monitor. Anyone want to give me those?
