Been working on this for a while now and I thought I would share. Rescued it out of a barn completely dead. Rats had made a nice little home in there. Here are the before pics...

After

Almost finished now, need to finish 2nd gun and wire up the coin door. Also need to finish figuring out why the monitor is a little squished on one side. It's not perfect but it works now. Looking for a new bezel. Somebody was nice enough to tag this one.

Very impressive! That was quite a resurrection!! It looks great, was that one of the games from the guy that had the barn full on craigslist? I seriously thought about going up there, but figured everything was too far gone.

Thanks! That would be the one. I'm still thinking about giving him a call and see if I can get some monitors from him cheap. Everything was really rough, I wouldn't want anything but to save some monitors. He's the same guy that keeps posting the APB for a crazy amount. I'm afraid he would want a fortune for them.

wow how did you bring back the red edging on the sideart, i remember that birdcage photo in a previous post of yours. Looks like you could eat off the floor of it now.

very nice.

Wow nice work, also what did u do to bring the red border alive ? I'd like to copy on mine please.

I actually used craft paint and a foam brush to redo all the reds and a lot of time. I taped all the lines off then used 3 or 4 coats for good coverage. Touched up some of the whites, blues and blacks with the same paint. Then I used a satin clear coat over all of it. Can't really tell from 5 ft away. Wasn't shooting for perfection but it turned out pretty well. Debating on wasting the money for a repro T2 decal for the front or just leaving it as is.

very cool, definitely can't see anything off from the pictures.

I got sick of it, trust me and you can probably tell towards the end. Especially going around the "MIDWAY" logos. I at least wanted it presentable. haha

Ugh, the bottom of that cab made me throw up a little in my mouth...yuck. Great job resurrecting it. The side art is in surprisingly great shape!

this picture is priceless, i should find a link to the other thread where this picture made it's first appearance.
