I don't know why I forget about these things, but my company manufacturers a EL type cording that we use for other applications. We made this sign for fun a few months ago with the idea to make other brand names and symbols.

It doesn't have heavy transformers like Neon, weighs a fraction, is virtually indestructible to falls and damage, etc.

Cons: not quite as bright as neon by i'd say 15-25% on average. Doubling up the material might help.

Either way, here it is...let me know what you think.

These run about $55-65 range in cost

Adding colors only makes it go up $5.00 per color usually

When I referred to brightness, I meant 15-20% less not 15-20% total brightness

What I like is the weight savings, energy consumption is small (can run 3 straight days on AA battery pack) and it can take abuse.

Anything is possible so if there is a want.
We make them in house, fort worth Texas so no international shipping and we can do individual orders

What's the lifetime on the stuff you're using? I know that's a problem with a lot of EL. Not a good choice if left on a lot.... looks bad after a year or so, and craps out after a couple.

Great question: Stuff we are using is 10,000 hour EL - it is a variant of the EL you have seen before with patent pending tech to allow it advantage over older stuff.

We are working on price and one of those prices will include multicolor anything. We can go to 5 colors without issue on one power supply.

I was thinking about Tron since I love that game (and my fridge)

Anyone of them we can do one on one or if we want to discuss a group buy for bulk to knock costs down, i am all for it.

I think I'd like to take a few orders from people first and let the members actually see them, give honest opinions to make sure we aren't wasting anyone's time.

how does that sound?

sounds great, also what exactly is el cording? im curious and didnt find much on it.

also is it possible to make something like the FLYNN LIVES LOGO on the shirt

or the tron logo with a lightbike under?

your atari one looks sweet and Im def. interested in one.

OF course like neon, the more complicated the picture, the greater the price. We are starting out with easy things like this Atari to field interest and as time progresses, we will increase the difficulty of the picture. The guys doing the work have been at it for a year on large scale items so honing it down for smaller details will take practice.

The Luma rope we are using is in house proprietary stuff with little written about it because we don't really sell it to the public.

I'll show off some more signage in the up coming weeks and gauge the interest, let a few buy them with full money back guarantee if not satisfied, etc.
